Handmade Arabic Calligraphy

Following are my handmade paintings. The Arabic scripts used in these are called Kufic and Naskh. Different painting techniques are used to get this result. In my paintings I use poster and acrylic paints use bamboo and nib pens for writing calligraphy.

These paintings are exhibited at national and international exhibitions and most of my artwork is sold out.

• Participated and declared “Best of the show” for Calligraphy, National Art Gallery, Islamabad - Nov 2011.
• Participated in group exhibition “Allama bil Qalam”, Pakistan Consulate General, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia - Oct 2011.
• 2nd prize in an exhibition of Traditional Islamic Calligraphy, Lok Virsa, Islamabad - Nov 2010.
• Participated in 8th International Calligraphy Competition, IRCICA in Istanbul, Turkey - May 2010.
• S. S. Hyder Award and 1st position for Calligraphy, Abasin Arts Council Peshawar - Nov 2009.
• Calligraphy work Displayed in National Library of Tunisia, National Library of Tunisia - May 2008.
